Temporary Employment Opportunity

The Consulate-General of Japan in Perth is seeking a responsible and enthusiastic individual to be able to work from the 16th of November 2020. The applicant must hold either Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
Job Title: Temporary Consular Section staff
Applicant Eligibility:
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency holder
  • Native-equivalent language ability in both Japanese and English (Ability to write a formal letter and other official documents and communicate with clients in both professional Japanese and English)
  • IT skills and knowledge of Excel and Word
  • More than 3 years of clerical work or customer service experience
  • Work experience in Japan
  • Being able to work on a full-time basis: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with occasional overtime work required
Employment Period: Approximately one year from the 16th of November 2020
