Japan’s national women’s soccer team,‘Nadeshiko Japan’, has won the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup in Australia, also securing qualification for the World Cup in Brazil in 2027!

‘Nadeshiko Japan’ was in Group C, winning all three of its group stage matches here in Perth. Ahead of the group stage, ‘Nadeshiko Japan’ met with local students including from the Japanese school in Perth, where the players received messages of support from the children. They were also presented with some gifts, took photos with the children, and delighted the children by giving them their signatures.
