Sogetsu Ikebana Award Presented to Ikebana Sogetsu WA Director, Ms Ursula Pagels

In April this year, Ms Ursula Pagels, Director of Ikebana Sogetsu WA, attended the Sogetsu 90th Anniversary Celebrations held in Chiba Prefecture, where she received the Sogetsu 90th Anniversary Commemorative Sogetsu Overseas Honor Award. The award was presented in recognition of Ms Pagel’s excellent works, created with acute sensitivity and vigorous creativity, which bring happiness to many people.

As Director of Ikebana Sogetsu WA, Ms Pagels holds various Ikebana workshops here in WA, also participating in Japan-related events such as the Perth Japan Festival, and continues to promote the art of Ikebana here in the local community.
